Job summary

Quad City Physical Therapy & Spine in Davenport, Iowa is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our Physical Therapists with patient care. Responsibilities include observing patients before, during, and after therapy and assisting with specific exercises as per the care plan.

The ideal candidate will have completed a Physical Therapist Assistant Program, with preference given to those with prior outpatient orthopedic experience. New graduates are welcome. We offer a competitive hourly compensation and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• One or more years of outpatient orthopedic experience preferred but new grads are welcome.
• Current state of Iowa Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license, CPR certification.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our Physical Therapists with patient care. Specific job responsibilities will include the following under the supervision of the Physical Therapist:

• Patient observation before, during and after therapy, noting the status and reporting it to the Physical Therapist.
• Assisting the patient with specific exercises as per the plan of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
• One or more years of outpatient orthopedic experience within a private clinic or hospital preferred but new grads are welcome to apply.
• Current state of Iowa Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license, CPR certification.
