Medi Home Health & Hospice, a division of Medical Services of America, Inc., is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to provide in-home therapy across Avery and Mitchell County, NC. Join a supportive team delivering compassionate care in patients’ homes.

Responsibilities include implementing plans of care, monitoring progress, documenting accurately, and educating patients and caregivers. Requires NC PTA license, driver’s license, and at least 1 year of experience.

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active PTA license in North Carolina.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable physical therapy experience.
• Home health experience preferred.

Pay Range: $32-$35

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health team and provide in-home therapy services across Avery and Mitchell County and the surrounding counties.

What You’ll Do:

Deliver physical therapy services as outlined in the plan of care developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.

Carry out treatment protocols that support mobility, strength, balance, and functional recovery.

Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate updates to the PT or Case Manager.

Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with agency policy and regulatory requirements.

Assist with educating patients and caregivers on exercises and mobility techniques.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

What You Bring:

Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Active PTA license in the state of North Carolina (required)

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)

Minimum of 1 year of verifiable physical therapy experience (required)

Previous home health experience preferred

Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
