Job summary

Medical Services of America, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant for in-home health services in Grundy, VA. You will provide therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, delivering care to patients across Grundy and surrounding counties.

The role requires completion of an accredited PTA program, a Virginia PTA license, and a valid driver’s license with at least one year of PTA experience. Home health experience is preferred and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active Virginia PTA license required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum of 1 year verifiable PTA experience; home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services as outlined in the plan of care developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Carry out treatment protocols that support mobility, strength, balance, and functional recovery.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate updates to the PT or Case Manager.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with agency policy and regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and mobility techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

Pay Range: $35.00-$40.00
