Medical Services of America, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time/PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for home health in Florence, SC.

The role supports patients in their homes, delivering therapies under supervision of a licensed PT to improve mobility and independence. You’ll work with an interdisciplinary team across Florence and surrounding counties, maintain accurate documentation, and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active PTA license in the state of South Carolina (required).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required).
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable physical therapy experience (required).
• Previous home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services as outlined in the plan of care developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Carry out treatment protocols that support mobility, strength, balance, and functional recovery.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate updates to the PT or Case Manager.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with agency policy and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with educating patients and caregivers on exercises and mobility techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

Pay Range: $33.00-$38.00

We are currently seeking a Part-Time/PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health team and provide in-home therapy services across Florence, Darlington, Dillon, Marion, Williamsburg, and Marlboro, SC and the surrounding counties.

In this meaningful clinical role, you’ll help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
