Select Medical's NovaCare Rehabilitation outpatient center in Michigan seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join a dedicated clinical team. You will work under a PT, delivering quality outpatient therapy to a diverse patient population and supporting care plans across two split locations.

Must have outpatient PTA experience, CPR, CAPTE certification, and reside in Michigan. The role offers a competitive hourly wage, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and ongoing education through CEU programs,

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current CAPTE certification as PTA.
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of licensed physical therapist.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services per policy.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients and support client relations.

Overview

Position:Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: 6014 W. Maple Rd, Bloomfield, MI and 55 Northpoind Dr, #4, Walled Lake, MI (Split between locations)

Schedule: Monday-Friday with hours between 7am-7pm

Compensation: $25-$40hr depending on experience

Incentives: $5,000 sign-on bonus and/or $200 per month in uncapped student debt relief

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
