Job summary

Select Medical's NovaCare outpatient orthopedic center in Stephens, PA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. The PTA will provide supervised patient care, implement quality PT services, and foster strong center relationships to support patient recovery and activity re-engagement.

Qualified candidates have CAPTE certification, a PTA license in good standing, CPR certification, and strong patient care skills. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible full-time applicants.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed national examination for PTAs (CAPTE).
• Valid state PTA license or license in process.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to patients in accordance with PT policies and procedures.
• Maintain positive interaction with centers, patients, and staff to support care delivery.

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Compensation: Hourly rate is $22/hr to $30/hr based on experience

$3000 sign on bonus available!

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
