Job summary

Inspire Physical & Hand Therapy, a member of Therapy Partners Group, seeks an Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Spokane team. You will assist with treating patients under the supervision of a physical therapist, implement treatment plans, document progress, and educate patients on exercises and care plans.

Qualifications

• Associate degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PTA.

Responsibilities

• Patient FollowUp: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the PT.
• Treatment Planning: Assist PTs in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement manual therapy, exercises, modalities, and education.
• Documentation: Use Raintree and document patient progress during sessions.
• Patient Education: Instruct patients and families on exercises and care plans.
• Professional Atmosphere: Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safety and quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient FollowUp: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning:Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education:Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
