Job summary

Northwest Rehabilitation & Associates, a Therapy Partners Group member, is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Salem area team. The role supports licensed PTs in delivering focused, evidence-based care.

The PTA works with a collaborative team, follows treatment plans, and documents progress while educating patients and families on home exercises and pain management. Competitive benefits and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PTA.
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Patient FollowUp: conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities per PT.
• Treatment Planning: assist PT in developing and implementing plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: apply manual therapy, exercises, modalities, education.
• Documentation: use patient records to monitor progress and report changes.
• Patient Education: teach exercises, pain management, and care plans.
• Professional Atmosphere: collaborate with healthcare team for safety.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient FollowUp: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications
