Job summary

Inspire Physical & Hand Therapy in Spokane, WA is seeking an Outpatient Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. This role supports licensed therapists in delivering patient-centered care and helping clients regain function.

You will assist with treatment planning, follow-up exercises, and patient education, while documenting progress in the chart using Raintree. A team-oriented environment and commitment to high-quality care are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with patients and conduct therapeutic exercises as instructed by the occupational therapist.
• Assist therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Implement various therapeutic techniques, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Document progress in the chart using Raintree and report changes to the occupational therapist.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Salary: $31 - $33/hr based on experience!

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient FollowUp: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the occupationtherapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the occupational therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree as OccupationalTherapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
