Job summary

Inspire Physical & Hand Therapy, a member of Therapy Partners Group, provides outpatient orthopedic and hand therapy in Spokane and surrounding communities. We seek an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support therapists, assist in treatment planning, and help educate patients for optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree as OccupationalTherapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the occupational therapist.
• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Implement various therapeutic techniques, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the occupational therapist.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Salary: $31 - $33/hr based on experience! Inspire Physical & Hand Therapy, a member of Therapy Partners Group, has been the premier provider for outpatient orthopedics, neurological, musculoskeletal, and sports injuries serving Spokaneand surrounding communities for over five years. Key Responsibilities:

• Patient FollowUp: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the occupationtherapist.
• Treatment Planning:Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the occupational therapist.
• Patient Education:Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
