Job summary

Northwest Rehabilitation & Associates, a member of Therapy Partners Group, seeks a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality orthopedic care.

You will work under a PT to perform therapy sessions, assist in planning treatment, document progress, and educate patients while contributing to a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required; strong teamwork and patient care commitment.

Responsibilities

• Patient FollowUp: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans.
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient FollowUp: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.


• Treatment Planning:Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.


• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.


• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.


• Patient Education:Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans


• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
