Job summary

ProSport Physical Therapy & Performance, part of Therapy Partners Group, is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Orange County team in San Clemente. The role involves executing therapeutic exercises, assisting in treatment plans, and educating patients and families.

Strong teamwork and commitment to patient care are essential. Required is an Associate Degree in PTA and CA licensure eligibility; outpatient experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; CA PTA license or eligibility.
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with patients and perform exercises as directed by PT.
• Assist PT in developing and implementing treatment plans.
• Apply modalities and therapeutic interventions and educate patients.

Hourly: $30-36/hr based on experience
ProSport Physical Therapy & Performance, a member of Therapy Partners Group, has been the premier provider for outpatient orthopedics servingOrange Countyand surrounding communities since 1992.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
