Job summary

ProSport Physical Therapy & Performance in Orange County is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team in Huntington Beach. The PTA will assist the physical therapist with therapeutic exercises, treatment planning, and patient education in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities include documenting progress using the EHR, implementing interventions, and ensuring high standards of patient care and safety within an outpatient clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans.
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
