Job summary

ProSport Physical Therapy & Performance, part of Therapy Partners Group, is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join a premier orthopedics team in Huntington Beach, CA. The PTA will support the physical therapy team with exercises, modalities, and patient education to improve outcomes.

This role requires an Associate Degree in PTA and current licensure eligibility, with outpatient experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as PTA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the PT.
• Assist in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Apply manual therapy, exercises, modalities and education.
• Document progress using Raintree and report changes to PT.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and pain management.

Hourly: $30-36/hr based on experience

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
