Job summary

ProSport Physical Therapy & Performance, a member of Therapy Partners Group, is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join a team dedicated to orthopedic care in Orange County, CA. The position offers an hourly rate of $30–$36 based on experience and involves collaborative patient care.

Responsibilities include patient follow-up, treatment planning support, and documentation in Raintree, along with patient education and safety-focused teamwork with PTs and staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required (PTA).
• Active state licensure or eligibility for PTA licensure.
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Team-oriented and committed to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with patients and perform therapeutic exercises as directed by the PT.
• Assist in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic techniques, modalities, and patient education.
• Document patient progress in the charting system (Raintree).
• Educate patients and families on exercises and pain management.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective care.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
