Job summary

ProSport Physical Therapy & Performance, a member of Therapy Partners Group, is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dedicated team in Laguna Hills, CA. This role focuses on supporting the physical therapist with patient care, plan development, and education within an outpatient orthopedic setting.

You will assist with therapeutic exercises, modalities, and documentation while ensuring high standards of patient safety and collaborative care with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care

Responsibilities

• Patient follow up: conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities per PT instruction.
• Treatment planning: assist PT in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic interventions: apply manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and education.
• Documentation: monitor and document patient progress using Raintree, report changes to PT.
• Patient education: educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional atmosphere: collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe care.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
