Job summary

TransPerfect Health is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to provide resident-centered care in Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings. You will work under a supervising PT to optimize patient outcomes, complete Net Health documentation, and participate in care planning, staff, and family meetings.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents with disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope upon physician order and evaluation completion.
• Optimize patient functionality and skills.
• Complete documentation via Net Health.
• Collaborate with supervising PT to develop resident programs and fulfill PTA/PT supervision requirements.
• Attend required meetings including care planning and family meetings.
• Assist facility in meeting state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines.
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by manager/supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope of practice upon receiving physician order and completion of evaluation
• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients
• Completes all necessary documentation via Net Health
• Collaborate with supervising PT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling PTA/PT co-signature and supervision requirements
• Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.
• Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures
• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice
