TransPerfect Health in Hayesville, North Carolina, is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to provide patient-centered care in senior living and skilled nursing settings. You will work under supervision to treat residents, document progress, and contribute to care plans within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents with disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope of practice on physician order and after evaluation.
• Optimize residents' functionality and skills.
• Complete documentation via Net Health.
• Collaborate with supervising PT to develop programs and ensure co-signature/supervision requirements.
• Attend care planning, staff, and family meetings as required.
• Assist in meeting OBRA-related standards and state/federal certification requirements.
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope of practice upon receiving physician order and completion of evaluation
• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients
• Completes all necessary documentation via Net Health
• Collaborate with supervising PT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling PTA/PT co-signature and supervision requirements
• Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.
• Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures
• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice
