Job summary

TransPerfect Health in Virginia is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to support aging populations in Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings. Join a team focused on compassionate, proactive care and career growth.

You will treat residents per physician orders, document in Net Health, collaborate with supervising PT, attend care planning meetings, and help OBRA compliance while upholding infection control standards. A license in PTA is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a PTA license in the practicing state.
• Experience with Net Health or similar documentation systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents with referenced disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope after physician order and evaluation.
• Optimize residents' functionality and skills.
• Document all activities in Net Health.
• Collaborate with supervising PT to develop facility-specific programs.
• Attend care planning, staff, and family meetings as required.
• Assist in meeting OBRA and state/federal certification standards.

Education

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope of practice upon receiving physician order and completion of evaluation

• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients

• Completes all necessary documentation via Net Health

• Collaborate with supervising PT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling PTA/PT co-signature and supervision requirements

• Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.

• Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines

• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures

• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice
