Job summary

ProgressiveHealth of Indiana, LLC seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for hospital-based roles in Morganfield, KY. The position offers inpatient and outpatient care, with orthopedic education for outpatients and a focus on restoring function and reducing pain.

Weekend rotations are available, and there is potential for part-time or full-time work with our Henderson sister-hospital. Experienced PTAs and new graduates are welcome to apply, and competitive pay plus a focus on work-life

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Kentucky.
• Associate's degree or higher as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Current CPR certification or ability to attain this certification.
• BLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining achievable established productivity standards.
• Completing documentation according to policies and procedures.
• Providing medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for various conditions.
• Restoring patient function while relieving pain and reducing disability.
• Integrating rehab staff into the patient care plan.

• These weekend rotation shifts are shorter in nature, as it is an Inpatient \"check-in\" and not a full shift.


• This location sees mostly orthopedics, back pain, cervical pain, geriatrics, and the occasional pediatric patients.


• This position has the opportunity for part-time or full-time, if you're open to working with our sister-hospital in Henderson, KY!

What will you be doing in this role?

• Maintaining achievable established productivity standards


• Completing appropriate documentation according to Company/department policies and procedures along with adhering to federal and state regulations


• Providing medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint and bone diseases


• Restoring patient function while relieving pain, with ambitions of avoiding disability


• Integrating Rehab Techs (support staff) in patient care plan

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant specific to the State of Kentucky


• Associate's degree or higher as a Physical Therapist Assistant


• Current CPR certification or ability to attain this certification
