Job summary

Harborview at Lansdale seeks a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant to join our skilled nursing team. Under a Physical Therapist's supervision, you will assist in implementing treatment plans to restore and maintain patient function and quality of life.

Responsibilities include assisting with plans, providing prescribed exercises, monitoring progress, and communicating updates to the PT and care team. Prior LTC experience is preferred; PA PTA license and CPR required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
• Provide treatments and exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Assist patients with improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities.
• Communicate patient progress and concerns to the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team.
• Provide care in accordance with federal and state regulations and professional standards.
• Promote patient safety and independence throughout treatment.

NOW HIRING: PER DIEM PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (PTA) - Lansdale, PA

Harborview at Lansdale, a 126-bed skilled nursing facility, is looking for a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide coverage as needed.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide quality therapeutic services to patients. The PTA will assist with implementing individualized treatment plans designed to restore, maintain, and improve patient function and quality of life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans

• Provide treatments and exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist

• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment

• Assist patients with improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities
