Job summary

Harborview at Lansdale is currently hiring a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Lansdale, PA. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver quality therapeutic services and help restore and improve patient function.

The role involves assisting with treatment plans, monitoring progress, and communicating with the team to ensure safety and patient-centered care in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in Pennsylvania.
• Current CPR certification.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
• Provide treatments and exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Assist patients with improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities.
• Communicate patient progress and concerns to the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team.
• Provide care in accordance with federal and state regulations and professional standards.
• Promote patient safety and independence throughout treatment.

Harborview at Lansdale, a 126-bed skilled nursing facility, is looking for a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide coverage as needed.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide quality therapeutic services to patients. The PTA will assist with implementing individualized treatment plans designed to restore, maintain, and improve patient function and quality of life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans

• Provide treatments and exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist

• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment

• Assist patients with improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities

• Communicate patient progress and concerns to the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team
