A growing outpatient physical therapy clinic is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant in Harrisburg, PA. The ideal candidate will provide patient care under supervision, implement high-quality physical therapy services, and maintain positive relationships with patients and staff. Candidates should hold an accredited PTA program degree, have CPR certification, and possess a valid PTA license. This role supports a diverse patient mix and offers mentorship for new graduates.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.
• Implement high quality physical therapy services for patients and facilities.
• Maintain positive interaction with centers and patients.

Position

Physical Therapist Assistant – Outpatient Neuro

Location

Bloom Building, Harrisburg, PA

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 2 evenings a week until 7pm (Fridays 3pm – 7pm). No weekends.

Compensation

Hourly rate $23–$30/hr based on experience.

Incentives

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
