Job summary

Select Medical's NovaCare outpatient orthopedic center in Exton, PA seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team. The role involves delivering high-quality PTA services in ortho, sports medicine and vestibular care, under the supervision of a physical therapist, with a focus on restoring function and helping patients return to the activities they love.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed CAPTE national examination for PTA.
• Licensed in PA or in process.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality PTA services under supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Assist with ortho, sports medicine and vestibular care.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients and support staff relations.
• Follow Select Medical policies and procedures in patient care.

Job description

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant- Outpatient

Location: Exton, PA

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday. No Weekends!

Compensation: Hourly rate is between $27-$35 based on your experience.

Unique Location/Job Details: Growing outpatient PT clinic with 2 PTs plus front desks staff. Looking to add a PTA. Diverse patient mix with ortho, sports medicine and vestibular/post-concussion. Mentorship provided for new grads. Will start2-3 days at Extony, and supporting surrounding centers in West Chester or Thordnale remaining until census dictates. Growth position.

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
