Job summary

Select Medical’s NovaCare Rehabilitation center seeks a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join an experienced outpatient team. You’ll provide supervised PT services for orthopedic, sports medicine, neuro and ACL patients, with mentorship for new grads, in a collaborative setting at our Monongahela location.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as required by state laws.
• Deliver high quality physical therapy services for orthopedic, sports medicine, neurological, concussion, POETS and ACL patients.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients, and staff to support referrals and outcomes.

Compensation: Hourly, $18.00 - $28.00, commensurate with experience PLUS Student Loan Repayment Program

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
