ProSport Physical Therapy & Performance, a member of Therapy Partners Group, is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join its outpatient orthopedic team in California. The role focuses on assisting therapists with therapeutic exercises, plans of care, and patient education.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate Degree as a PTA, be licensed or eligible for licensure, and thrive in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with opportunities for ongoing CEU reimbursement and professional

Qualificações

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: Use Raintree; monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans.
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Hourly: $30-38/hr based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
