You will assist in patient care, implement treatment plans, and educate patients while collaborating with licensed therapists in a supportive, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required from an accredited PTA program.
• Current state PTA licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Patient FollowUp: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: Use Raintree, monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans.
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
