Job summary

TransPerfect Health is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our William Breman facility in Atlanta, GA. Located at 3150 Howell Mill Road NW, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide short-term rehabilitation, outpatient, and skilled therapy to an aging population.

You will collaborate with a supervising PT, complete Net Health documentation, and help residents achieve their functional goals while adhering to OBRA and infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents with noted disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope upon physician order and evaluation.
• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients.
• Complete all necessary documentation via Net Health.
• Collaborate with supervising PT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling PTA/PT co-signature and supervision requirements.
• Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.
• Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines.
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures.
• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor.
