TransPerfect Health invites you to join as an Internal Travel PTA serving the Metro Atlanta area. You’ll provide high-quality physical therapy across skilled nursing, assisted living, and independent living communities in top-rated facilities, with the support of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
• Willingness to travel to multiple facilities in the Metro Atlanta area.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents with disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope of practice after physician order and evaluation completion.
• Optimize patient functionality and skills.
• Complete all documentation via Net Health.
• Collaborate with supervising PT to develop facility-appropriate programs while upholding PTA/PT co-signature and supervision.
• Attend required meetings including care planning, staff and family meetings.
• Assist facility in meeting state and federal certification standards per OBRA Resident Rights.
• Follow infection control policies and procedures.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by manager or supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope of practice upon receiving physician order and completion of evaluation
• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients
• Completes all necessary documentation via Net Health
• Collaborate with supervising PT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling PTA/PT co-signature and supervision requirements
• Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.
• Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures
• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

Qualifications
