Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Physical Therapist at Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, Texas to evaluate patient mobility on admission and design personalized care plans that promote early movement and steady recovery. You will deliver targeted therapy to help patients rebuild strength, prepare for safe discharge, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to ensure smooth transitions.

This PRN role requires Texas licensure within 6 months, BLS within 30 days, and a Bachelor’s degree

Qualifications

• Mobility evaluation on admission to design care plans.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire or transfer date.
• Texas PT licensure within 6 months of hire date.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Physical Therapy (PT) credentialed from the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
