Job summary

Sentara in Suffolk, VA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility and relieve pain. You will educate patients and caregivers, supervise assigned staff, and collaborate with internal and external team members to enhance outcomes.

The role requires a PT license with a Doctorate preferred; bachelor’s degree required and master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (Required).
• Master's degree preferred. Doctorate in Physical Therapy highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Provide age-appropriate education for patients and caregivers.
• Supervise and take responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
• Initiate and maintain collaborative interactions with internal/external teams to improve patient outcomes.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $103,376.00 - $149,115.20 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
