Job summary

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and restore function after disease or injury. You will educate patients and families and supervise care provided by the team.

The position requires a Physical Therapy license and a Bachelor's degree, with Master’s or Doctorate degrees in Physical Therapy preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (Required).
• Advanced degrees (Master's/Doctorate) preferred.
• PT license required and current licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Educate patients and caregivers with age-appropriate information.
• Supervise and collaborate with team members to ensure quality care.
• Maintain formal care plans addressing individual patient needs.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $103,376.00 - $149,115.20 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
