Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. seeks a licensed Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide Early Intervention services to infants and toddlers in their homes and community settings across California.

You will conduct developmental assessments, co-create strategies with families, and coach caregivers using a family-centered approach. This role offers flexible schedules, travel between sessions, and ongoing professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• California Physical Therapy (DPT) license is required.
• Pediatric experience with Early Intervention preferred.
• Home-based service delivery experience preferred.
• Strong clinical & interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written & oral communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide physical therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child's IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach developmental goals.
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregivers' confidence and skills and to ensure progress is generalized.
• Provide services in the child's natural environment, in families' homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations).
