Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. seeks licensed Physical Therapists to provide home-based Early Intervention services for infants, toddlers, and families across California. You will assess, plan, and implement therapy within natural environments, partnering with families to meet developmental goals.

The role offers flexible scheduling and travel across clients’ homes and community settings, with professional support and development opportunities to grow within a nationwide agency.

Qualifications

• California PT license (DPT) required.
• Pediatric EI experience preferred.
• Home-based service delivery experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide physical therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals.
• Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and to ensure that progress is generalized.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations).

Our programs are multidisciplinary, providing occupational, physical, and speech therapy, as well as child development services.
