Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Physical Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic/sports PT clinic in Brunswick, ME. The role evaluates patients, develops plans, and provides treatments to restore function and relieve pain as per the Plan of Care approved by the provider.

Licensed PT with an APTA-accredited program is required; BLS within 30 days of start. One year of outpatient or related PT experience is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and flexible options.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist program.
• Current state PT license; BLS certification or plan to obtain within 30 days.
• Minimum one year of experience in hospital, long-term care, home, school, or outpatient PT preferred.

This is a an outpatient orthopedic/ Sports PT clinic

Summary

The Physical Therapist role performs physical therapy evaluations, develops plans, and carries out treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of a body part; helps patients reach their maximum performance in accordance with the Plan of Care prescribed by the provider. Provides all aspects of care based on standards established by the American Physical Therapy Association.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Graduate of an APTA accredited Physical Therapist program required.


• License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) temporary/permanent license as a Physical Therapist required or in compliance with the state practice act. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Positions in Home Care will require current valid Driver's License with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.


• Experience: One year of experience working in a hospital, long-term care, home, school system, or outpatient Physical Therapy department preferred.

The pay range for this position is $83,324.80to $112,736.00per year.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
