Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an individual treatment plan with functional goals using therapy exercises and modalities.
• Review patient information, evaluate progress, and communicate treatment updates.
• Revise treatment plans as needed for injuries or musculoskeletal conditions.
• Instruct patients and families in exercises to continue post-discharge.
• Delegate tasks to PTA and rehabilitation technicians; supervise as needed.
• Complete thorough documentation in accordance with policies and regulations.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Developing and implementing an individualized treatment plan based on patient needs containing achievable functional goals by using therapeutic exercise and modalities, as necessary
  • Reviewing available patient information, evaluating the impact of the assessment, and communicating of the treatment process
  • Revising treatment plans, as needed, throughout the treatment process for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint, and/or bone diseases
  • Establishing and instructing patient and/or family/caregiver in exercises and therapeutic procedures to be continued following discharge
• Delegating tasks and supervising physical therapist assistants (PTA) and rehabilitation technicians
• Completing appropriate documentation according to Company/department policies and procedures along with adhering to federal and state regulations

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapy specific to the State of Illinois
• A Bachelor's or higher in Physical Therapy
• Current CPR certification

Estimated pay range:$45 - $55/hour * this rate does not include bonus potential*
