ProgressiveHealth is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient therapy department at Benton, IL. The role focuses on developing individualized treatment plans using therapeutic exercise and modalities, with supervision of PTAs and rehabilitation technicians.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using therapeutic exercise and modalities
• Review patient information, evaluate impact of assessment, and communicate treatment progress
• Revise treatment plans as needed during the course of therapy
• Delegate tasks and supervise PTAs and rehabilitation technicians
• Complete documentation per company policies and applicable regulations

What will you be doing in this role?

• Developing and implementing an individualized treatment plan based on patient needs containing achievable functional goals by using therapeutic exercise and modalities, as necessary
  • Reviewing available patient information, evaluating the impact of the assessment, and communicating of the treatment process
  • Revising treatment plans, as needed, throughout the treatment process for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint, and/or bone diseases
  • Establishing and instructing patient and/or family/caregiver in exercises and therapeutic procedures to be continued following discharge
• Delegating tasks and supervising physical therapist assistants (PTA) and rehabilitation technicians
• Completing appropriate documentation according to Company/department policies and procedures along with adhering to federal and state regulations

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapy specific to the State of Illinois
• A Bachelor's or higher in Physical Therapy
• Current CPR certification

Estimated pay range:$45 - $55/hour * this rate does not include bonus potential*
