Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing Company, Inc. is seeking a Security Manager responsible for leading physical security, asset protection, security investigations, and emergency preparedness programs. This role protects people, facilities, and operations by developing effective policies and risk-based controls.

The Security Manager works cross-functionally with Personnel, EH&S, Legal, and operations leadership, with primary location at our Lyon Station, PA offices and periodic travel to other sites.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of progressive physical security, asset protection, law enforcement, military, or related experience.
• Five or more years of leadership experience in security operations or a related function.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or critical infrastructure environments preferred.
• Experience managing contract security personnel and third-party security providers.
• Experience conducting security investigations, preparing reports, preserving evidence, and coordinating corrective actions.
• Experience developing emergency response plans and working with law enforcement, first responders, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company’s physical security program.
• Oversee facility security controls and recommend enhancements to strengthen protection of people, property, and operations.
• Manage third-party contract security providers and hold vendors accountable for service quality.
• Lead or support investigations of security incidents and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
• Develop asset protection strategies and partner with leaders to implement preventive measures.
• Maintain emergency preparedness and business continuity planning with stakeholders.
• Oversee routine security operations, monitoring, and incident trend reporting.
