Job summary

MultiCare Rockwood Clinic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join the Physician/APP office team in Spokane, WA. The MA-C will perform safe clinical tasks under supervision and interact with physicians, APPs, nurses, and front office staff to support patient care.

Responsibilities include patient flow management, vital signs, specimen collection, medication administration, and clerical duties.

Qualifications

• MA-C certification required.
• Minimum of one year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Organizing patient flow in collaboration with the front office staff.
• Interviewing patients.
• Obtaining vital signs.
• Assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments.
• Performing specimen collection, including venipuncture.
• Administration of medications in compliance with WA regulations and documented competency.
• Relaying instructions to patients and families/caregivers.
• Sending and receiving patient medical records.
• Facilitating patient referrals.
• Preparing forms for patients.
