MultiCare in Washington state is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join a physician/APP office team under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. The MA-C will perform safe clinical skills and maintain contact with physicians, nurses, front desk staff, patients and their families.

Responsibilities include organizing patient flow, interviewing patients, obtaining vital signs, assisting with exams, venipuncture, administering medications per WA DOH regulations, and relaying

Formación

• MA-C certification required.
• Minimum of one year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Organize patient flow in collaboration with front office staff.
• Interview patients and obtain vital signs.
• Assist patients in preparing for exams or treatments and venipuncture.
• Administer medications in accordance with Washington State DOH regulations.
• Relate instructions to patients and families/caregivers.
• Send/receive patient records and facilitate referrals.
• Prepare forms for patients.
