Job summary

Swabian Instruments in Boston is seeking a proactive Enterprise Sales professional to bridge cutting-edge time-taggers and pulse streamers with researchers. You will own opportunities from discovery to close, guiding buyers through demonstrations andPOEs.

You will lead structured discovery, map customer problems to our configurations, defend quotations, and maintain HubSpot data. The role emphasizes strong communication, a hunter mindset, and growth within a collaborative, scientist-led culture.

Qualifications

• Education in Physics, Optics, Engineering, Materials Science, or related quantitative field.
• Proactive self-starter in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with direct impact.
• Strong communicator with negotiation and presentation skills.
• Hunter mentality with persistence in new business development.
• Commitment to ongoing skills and industry knowledge through training.
• Effective project management across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Own qualified opportunities end-to-end from initial conversation to close.
• Run structured discovery with researchers to map needs to solutions.
• Lead demonstrations, evaluations, and POE engagements.
• Configure quotations and defend value to multi-stakeholder groups.
• Own onboarding with Application Scientists and grow the account.
• Self-source new pipeline through outbound initiatives and events.
• Provide win/loss insights to PM and Engineering.
• Maintain HubSpot opportunity, pipeline, and forecast data.
