Job summary

Teradyne is seeking a Photonics Field Product Specialist to join the Silicon Photonics Test business. You will work with engineering and field application engineers to develop strategic relationships with customers and demonstrate the value of Teradyne solutions.

Applicants should have a minimum of a BSEE/BSCS or related degree, 8+ years in the industry, and at least 3 years in photonics product development or management. Domestic and international travel up to 40% is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum BSEE, BSCS or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years industry experience
• At least 3 years of photonics product development or product management experience
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work globally with customers

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to customers and support staff while coordinating with sales and product staff.
• Mastering Teradyne products, product applications and policies.
• Develop, present, and respond to proposals for specific customer requirements.
• Pinpoint customer challenges and suggest effective solutions.
• Develop, coordinate and deliver product demonstrations which display the value of our solutions.
• Work closely with customers to define projects and identify new opportunities.
• Communicate the application, sizing and competitive position of products.
• Develop relationships with customers and key decision makers.
• Keep informed on competitors and industry trends.
