Job summary

Micron Technology’s Mask Technology Center in Boise, Idaho seeks a Photomask BEOL Sustaining Engineer to sustain and optimize BEOL photomask manufacturing processes and lead improvement projects across production.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, equipment, quality, and process engineering teams, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and apply AI-assisted methods to data analysis, documentation, and process optimization, while ensuring proper engineering review and

Demonstrated ability to perform root cause investigations and interpret data.

Responsibilities

Sustain and optimize BEOL photomask manufacturing processes to improve quality, yield, reliability, and efficiency.
Investigate process excursions, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Collaborate with manufacturing, equipment, quality, and process engineering teams on continuous improvement and technology transfers.
Lead and execute engineering projects, including process characterization, qualification activities, and documentation of results.
Apply AI-assisted and Generative AI tools to support data analysis, problem-solving, documentation, and process improvement with proper validation.
