Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, ID is seeking a Central Mask (CM) Engineer to drive reticle quality, optimize processes, and lead improvements across global manufacturing sites.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define specs, improve tapeout workflows, and implement BKMs, AI-enabled solutions, and data-driven decisions to boost efficiency, cycle time, and product quality. You will lead initiatives, manage cross-site projects, and mentor teammates while ensuring safety,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years in semiconductor manufacturing or related.
• Strong knowledge of reticle manufacturing, fracture, CD metrology, and tapeout.
• Experience leading technical projects and process improvements.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Define reticle specs with MTC and manufacturing stakeholders.
• Improve fracture, tapeout, and reticle prep processes.
• Troubleshoot reticle, OPC, metrology, and process integration issues.
• Lead projects for scalability and high-volume manufacturing growth.
• Evaluate tools and implement cost-reducing improvements.
• Promote BKMs across global teams and sites.
• Leverage AI and automation to boost productivity.
• Mentor engineers and share knowledge.
