Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Licensed RN with active license.
• BLS certification required.
• Clinical experience preferred.
• Comfort with high-volume, fast-paced office settings.

Baptist Health is hiring a Phone Triage Registered Nurse at Baptist Internal Medicine Group on Baymeadows in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time day-shift opportunity Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. The primary responsibility of the Registered Nurse is phone triage. They will support 10 providers and this is a busy, fast-paced office. We are looking for someone who is highly organized and comfortable interacting with patients face to face.

Phone Triage Registered Nurse Job Responsibilities

• Triage telephone calls
• Interpret symptoms and communicating plan of care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans
• Manage prior authorizations for medications
• Coordinate workflow pertaining to clinical questions
• Additional responsibilities may be required based upon office needs
• Room/triage patients for providers
• Reviewing the clinical messages that come through the portal and responding to them
• Using strong communication and documentation skills

Education & Credential Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required

• Clinical Experience Preferred
