Job summary

IMEG Corp. seeks a Senior Electrical Designer in Phoenix, AZ to lead design efforts, manage projects, and mentor staff. You will work with engineers and consultants to deliver electrical systems for buildings and infrastructure, oversee budgets, and ensure code-compliant solutions.

The role emphasizes project direction, engineering analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet client expectations and project goals.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• 7+ years in building design consulting; BIM/Engineering certs with 11+ years preferred.
• Proficiency in circuit theory, power systems, and electronics related to electrical systems.
• Knowledge of IES standards and NFPA/FGI resources.
• Proficiency with eSPECS and BIM tools; strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee and manage projects of moderate to high complexity.
• Assist executives with design scopes, fees, proposals, and contract reviews.
• Create project schedules with milestones and deadlines.
• Serve as primary point of contact for teams and clients.
• Manage billing, projections and completion percentages monthly.
• Ensure design complies with owner and IMEG standards and codes.
• Lead meetings, document outcomes, and supervise design staff.
• Mentor staff and develop client relationships.
