Job summary

Vanguard Renewables is expanding its Organics Market team in Phoenix, AZ. The Organics Market Manager will drive acquisition of organic feedstock, develop leadership in the region, and close complex B2B deals with a focus on strategic relationships.

You will prospect, present proposals, and work with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery. Travel up to 40%+ to meet clients and attend events.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales experience.
• Proven ability to develop client relationships and close complex sales.
• B2B selling experience at a high level.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or similar tools is preferred.
• Knowledge of the waste/hauling industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acquire assigned tons per day of organic feedstock in Phoenix territory.
• Develop and manage customer relationships across stakeholders including C-suite.
• Prospect, develop, and close organic feedstock deals.
• Conduct outbound calls and meetings, document activities in CRM.
• Prepare and present proposals to meet client needs.
• Attend industry events and coordinate onboarding with internal teams.
• Collaborate with Logistics/Operations/Sales/Accounting for smooth onboarding.
• Utilize pricing tools to adapt to changing client needs.
