Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Site Construction Coordinator for a Phoenix, AZ project. You will work with the site construction lead to coordinate field operations, daily reporting, quality control, and subcontractor communication.

Responsibilities include ensuring drawings are current, maintaining on-site records, and providing progress reports. Requires a solid background in construction with related degrees as applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with extensive field experience in construction/field operations.
• Associate degree plus six years of construction/field operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate overall field operations with the site construction lead, including scheduling, daily reporting, QA, and subcontractor communication.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction activities to meet safety, quality, and drawing/specification requirements.
• Maintain project schedules, escalate delays, and prepare progress and quality inspection reports.
• Ensure use of latest design drawings, assist Project Construction Manager, and manage on-site records per standards.
• Assist with monthly progress reports, prepare contract extras and progress payments, and maintain professional communication with management and clients.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of construction or field operations experience

Associate degree plus six (6) years of construction or field operations experience

Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience
