Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks a field operations coordinator for a Phoenix project. You will work with the site construction lead to coordinate scheduling, daily reports, quality control, and subcontractor communication, ensuring work aligns with drawings and specs.

You will monitor the project schedule, escalate delays, and prepare daily and quality inspection reports, photos, and monthly progress updates. Exposure to revisions and client communications is common.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 9 years of construction/field operations experience.
• Associate degree and 6 years of construction/field operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field and 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field operations with the site construction lead, including scheduling, daily reporting, QC, and subcontractor communication.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with drawings and specs.
• Maintain the project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily and Quality Inspection Reports as official project records.
• Take and label progress photos; assist with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revision for construction.
• Provide assistance to the Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Support key trades/subcontractors as required.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Communicate professionally with management and clients; maintain on-site records per standards.
• Uphold The Perry Group’s Quality Policy and Quality Systems.
