Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of phlebotomy experience; oncology experience required.
• BS/BA degree preferred; High School Diploma required.
• Phlebotomy Certificate as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures to obtain blood specimens with precision and care.
• Verify patient identity and test requisitions, cross-referencing EMR records and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain specimen integrity by following aseptic techniques, department protocols, and isolation procedures.
• Accurately track collected specimens by documenting initials, date, and collection time; maintain daily logs.
• Coordinate patient care services; schedule appointments and align blood draw times with clinic requirements.
• Collaborate with Field Sales and internal operations teams to provide patient support and ensure continuity of care.
• Document interactions and follow-ups; act as liaison for accounts and Sales.
• Respond to inquiries promptly; resolve issues and escalate when needed.
• Ensure compliance with CAP/CLIA standards, regulations, and internal policies.
